Many compatible 3D printers, through DentixUnikue, can manage and create, with certified materials, devices in a simple way such as models, templates, bytes, and temporaries. All production’s data will be automatically written and stored in the patient’s medical record. Extremely simple interface that guides the user in preparing the print, ensures optimal results.

During the import of the file, the analysis of the object is carried out to assess its quality and the presence of imperfections such as, for example, intersections, holes, overlaps or other types of defects that are automatically resolved by the system. Other possible important defects are however highlighted so that the operator can intervene manually.

Everything happens in seconds. Thanks to additional tools included in the system, the management of the clusters and the correct orientation of the normals are allowed. A very powerful mesh-fix is also integrated which with a simple mouse click solves the problems, making the mesh coherent and printable. 

NESTING & SUPPORTS

/media/Additiva_corone.pngAdequate positioning of the objects is essential in order to obtain the best result from 3D printing because it affects the optimization of production times and costs. For this reason, each object is automatically assigned a positioning and support profile predefined by the user based on his experience and need.

In detail, the profiles and the customizable ways to insert supports are:

  • automatic, with coverage of the minimum points, sloping areas and dimensions of the supports;
  • manual, with a single click it allows you to insert supports of configured size and shape;
  • custom, for applications in dedicated fields.

The system is open and allows the management of 3D printing in a simple and intuitive way. It can be used with the most popular 3D printing technologies in existence (DLP, SLA, SLS, SLM).
